But in Iran, despite the long tradition of writing life narratives and the growth of its modern examples over the past century and a half, not only do we not see Life writing studies, but even its necessity and basic concepts are not well understood. With the aim of recognizing this concept as an independent identity, emphasizing the necessity of initiating these studies, and presenting a perspective on it in Iran, this article has been written to outline the idea of biography and life writing and outline its generalities. Life writing is intended as an umbrella term to encompass all works that somehow contain a realistic narrative of human life in recording personal memories, experiences, perspectives, and feelings. In the broad field of "biographies" in a variety of formats and media, including written, visual, audio, and mixed types, This concept includes a wide range of writings in the description of a life or parts thereof, in various types of life writing, such as autobiographies, fictional autobiographies, memoirs, work reports, , collective biographies, memorials, testimonies, obituaries, wills, registration forms, personal resumes, obituaries, and even digital forms in blogs, tweets and stories, . زندگی‏ نگاری، از اواخر قرن بیستم میلادی به نحوی روزافزون در مراکز علمی و پژوهشی، نهضتی عظیم و میان ‏رشته ‏ای به پا کرده و خصوصا در زمینه ‏های مختلف دانش ‏های نوین، خصوصا علوم انسانی و اجتماعی، در شاخه‎ هایی نظیر مطالعات زنان و جنسیت، فرهنگی، استعماری و پسااستعمارگرایی، مورد توجه انتقادی قرار گرفته‏ است. اما در ایران، با وجود دیرینگی سنت ثبت روایت‏ های زندگی، نه تنها خبری از شکل‏ گیری مطالعات زندگی ‏نگاری نیست، بلکه حتی ضرورت و مفاهیم اساسی آن چندان درک نشده است. با هدف بازشناخت این مفهوم در هویتی مستقل،‌ تأکید بر ضرورت آغاز این مطالعات و ارائه چشم‏ اندازی از آن در ایران،‌ این مقاله در طرح ایدة زندگی ‏نگاری و زندگی‎ نویسی‏ و ترسیم کلیات آن به نگارش درآمده تا با استفاده از روش کتابخانه ‏ای و برخی کتاب‏ ها و مقالات روزِ دنیا با ملاحظات بومی، توصیفی از اصلی ‏ترین چارچوب‏ های نظری این عرصه را در ساده ‏‏ترین و کوتاه ‏ترین صورت ممکن ارائه دهد. «زندگی ‏نگاری» در برابر اصطلاحِ life writing درنظر گرفته شده تا به منزلة چتری فراگیر، همة آثاری را در بر گیرد که به نحوی، حاوی روایتی واقع‏ گرایانه از زندگی بشر در انواع قالب ‏ها و رسانه ‏های نوشتاری، دیداری، شنیداری و ترکیبی باشد. در عرصة‌ فراخِ «زندگی‏ نگاره ‏ها»، «زندگی‏ نوشت»‏ها به طور خاص، طیف وسیعی از مکتوبات در شرح زندگی‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏ ‏یا بخش‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏‏ هایی ‏از آن را شامل می ‎‎شود، که به طور روزافزون، گسترده، متنوع، دموکراتیک، بین ‏رشته ‏ای و انتقادی پیش‏ می ‎رود. اهمیت این مقاله، در گشایش دریچه ‏ای نو برای بازشناخت این قلمرو، در کنار دو قلمروِ روایی تاریخ و ادبیات، و گوشزدِ ضرورت رویکرد تحلیلی و انتقادی به آن است. https://islah.birjand.ac.ir/article_3494_6dbd2699e8e7ec0047de2d5d1b28a75b.pdf
