Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies of Literature, Arts and Humanities (ISLAH) is an open-access, double-blind, peer-reviewed publication published by the University of Birjand. This journal is a semiannual publication that publishes original and relevant scientific articles in connections and interactions between literature and other fields of study in the humanities, sciences, and fine arts (See journal scope). This journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the highest ethical standards by ethical laws. All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through Samim Noor/Hamyab software to ensure their authenticity and then rigorously peer-reviewed by expert reviewers.
All submitted manuscripts are checked for similarity through Hamyab software for Persian articles and iThenticate for English articles, to ensure their authenticity and originality. They are then rigorously peer-reviewed by expert reviewers. The authors are expected to check their manuscripts for plagiarism before submission.
Publishing an article in this journal requires an Article Processing Charge (APC). The Article Processing Charges is 4,500,000 IRR.
ISLAH has been published as an open-access electronic journal, so audiences do not have to pay a subscription fee.
ISLAH is a fully open-access journal, which means that all articles are available on the Web to all users immediately upon publication and licensed under the terms of the Creative Commons Attribution License 4.0 International (CC-BY 4.0). Licensees may copy, distribute, display, and make derivative works only if they cite the original published article.
